The 3 textured sections are fantastic for mental workouts. My Spaniel loves digging her tongue into the ridges. I was worried cleaning dried food out of the crevices would be a nightmare, but taking it apart to pop on the top rack of the dishwasher makes it dead simple.
Spread a bit of pet-safe peanut butter and Greek yoghurt across the honeycomb and wave sections. It kept my Golden Retriever quietly occupied for a solid 25 minutes on a rainy afternoon. Love how the layers spin around to make it more of a challenge!
