Kept this tossed in my canvas tote bag all afternoon and not a single leak! The lock mechanism is very sturdy. Perfect amount of water for my Cockapoo, though if you have a massive Golden Retriever on a warm summer walk, you might need to refill it midway. Still love it!
What I like most is that if my dog doesn't finish all the water in the trough, holding the button down lets the excess drain back into the bottle instead of pouring it over the grass. Really clever design for long walks in the countryside
